Alkaline phosphatase activity of primary human osteoblasts in TissueSpec® Bone dECM Hydrogel, Matrigel, and collagen I. Primary human osteoblasts at passage 3 were embedded in Bone dECM Hydrogel (6 mg/mL), Matrigel (6 mg/mL), or collagen I (6 mg/mL) at a density of 3 x 104 cells/mL and 200 µL/well were added to a 24-well plate.
TissueSpec® Bone dECM Hydrogel Kit: Alkaline phosphatase activity of primary human osteoblasts.
Primary human osteoblasts at passage 3 were embedded in TissueSpec® Bone dECM Hydrogel (6 mg/mL), Matrigel (6 mg/mL), or collagen I (6 mg/mL) at a density of 3x104 cells/mL and 200 µL/well were added to a 24-well plate. At 7 days, morphology of live cells was imaged using brightfield microscopy at 10x objective. Scale bar: 100 µm.

TissueSpec® Bone dECM Hydrogel Kit: Migration (Boyden chamber) assay.
Migration activity of breast cancer cells BT-549 to TissueSpec® Bone dECM Hydrogel, Matrigel, and no ECM (plastic). BT-549 cells were seeded on inserts (8.0 µm pore size) placed on top of 24-well plates and previously prepared with 100 µL of thin gels of TissueSpec® Bone dECM Hydrogel (6 mg/mL) or Matrigel (6 mg/mL) and no ECM. After 24 hours, lower chambers were imaged to evaluate migrated cells.

Primary human osteoblasts (5x104) were seeded on 12-well plates previously coated using the TissueSpec® Bone dECM Coating Kit at 0.2 mg/mL for 48 hours. Scale bar: 50 μm.
