Liver ECM cell culture substrates
Extracellular matrix (ECM) is a major component of the cell microenvironment with important signaling and regulatory functions. Derived from healthy acellular porcine liver, TissueSpec® liver matrix is the organizational framework consisting of fibronectin and collagen types I, III, IV, V, and VI that mediates hepatic endothelial and epithelial cell communication, modulates liver homeostasis, and supports liver repair and regeneration.
